A friend of mine sent me a link to an infographic about preparing for a marathon. It’s a pretty interesting looking graphic and has some cool facts and all. I don’t completely agree with some of the information about how you are supposed to prepare (i.e. it’s been proven that stretching before working out actually doesn’t really do anything, but afterward definitely is very good), but overall it’s a good start for someone who’s interested in doing some endurance running. It reflects the principles of making sure you have enough rest in the schedule and cross training so it’s overall a good choice.
